ABOUT THE PROJECT

Alana is a relationship & sex therapist who works with couples & individuals to improve their relationships and sex lives. She needed a total website refresh and help migrating from Weebly to Showit.

I came in to help her migrate her website over to Showit and turn her website template into a website that was professional and showcased what she had to offer in the best way.

The results: more inquiries sent in, more traffic coming to the website and people staying for longer on the new website compared to the old one.

Alana wanted a website that

  • Would be easy to update in the future, so she wouldn't feel so daunted by the prospect of making little changes to her website. (Showit is great for this).

She'd found a Showit template she loved and needed help customizing it into a great website for her business and that's where I came in.

Project Goals

Alana's old website was pretty text heavy with poor scanability and a basic design that she struggled to edit due to the limited customization capabilities of Weebly, resulting in a website that wasn't really great for user experience and she felt wasn't professional.

A fully customized and setup website for Alana, using this TONIC template, that properly showcased her expertise and brand.

I customized the template using her brand assets (fonts, colour palette, images) and website copy, moving sections around to create a better website flow & customer journey and designed some custom pages, canvases and a drop-down sub-menu.

The website was optimized for both desktop and mobile viewing, connected to her domain, and I also helped her move over her blog posts from Weebly to Showit, plus other technical bits. She was able to focus on her clients and her zone of genius, while I worked on her website and finally her website was ready for launch.
